We are happy to be hosting the tester community in the beautiful city of Copenhagen for EuroSTAR 2017. The software testing conference is the largest of its kind in Europe and this year’s is the 25th edition.
To help our guests have an eventful stay, we’ve put together a very quick guide to three, not-to-miss experiences in Copenhagen. Whether you have an extended stay in Denmark or are only here for the conference days, it is worth your time to squeeze in a visit to at least one of these places.
#1: For Eating
Copenhagen Street Food offers a wide variety of surprising—and incredibly delicious—dishes at a fair price. You can find everything from ostrich burger to Korean, deep-fried chicken. The food market is located at Papirøen (Paper Island) in the charming area of Christianshavn. Click here for more info.
The local’s tip: If possible, get a table at the top stalls for cozy seating and a great view of the market.
#2: For Drinking
For many Danes, beer is more than a drink–it’s a passion, and a trip to our capital wouldn’t be complete without a taste of craft brew. The Warpigs Brewpub offers more than 20 different beers, tapped daily from their in-house brewery. They serve the globally renowned Mikkeller brand, and there’s something for each taste.
#3: For Having Your Mind Blown
Experience the largest aquarium in Northern Europe! Set in a spectacular setting, The National Aquarium Denmark combines entertainment, fascination, and knowledge about the mysteries of the sea.
The local’s tip: It’s close to the CPH airport!
